Welcome to my Nova page

A little history of my nova

it is a 1977 that i have owned since 1984 when i got it it still had the original 3sp on the floor with a bench seat  and a 305 don't know how  rare this was but it is the only one i have seen so far .the color was dark brown with brown rally wheels ,a broken windshield one side of the car had been side swiped the inside was very trashed  i paid 75 dollars (way to much) but i really wanted a stick car that was really easy to find parts for (remember that was back in 84)

what it is like when the above picture was taken

after many years this is it's current spec list .first thing was to throw on some un bent doors and fenders then off to the body shop where it some new gm quarter panel  a black paint job with the needed ss white stripes.Since 1985 it has been powered by a 350 that we had built for a race motor  but that was detuned to make the car more fun to drive. In 1999 i went i from a comp cam 306s with a team g intake to a extreme energy 274 hyd roller cam and a performer rpm (much better) the rear end started life as a 2;73 but now has a 9 inch with 3:73 and rear disk brakes  with the help of a corvette master cly  and the much needed posi. The trans is a super t10 and the wheels and tires have been upgraded to 275/60-15 on the rear and 235/70-15 on the front .with pontiac 15x7 wheels all around with ss center caps

what it is like now  10/2010
